Car Care Live (package name: th.lab.aaobdmonitor) displays vehicle information obtained from a Bluetooth/BLE OBD-II adapter, such as speed, engine RPM, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and ECU connection status, subject to adapter and vehicle support.

Developer: sungpasit houngthai. The app is intended for monitoring and alerts, not for modifying or clearing the vehicle ECU.

Bluetooth/BLE information: with appropriate permission, the app may access an OBD-II adapter’s device name, identifier, and connection information to discover, pair with, and connect to it.

Vehicle information: supported live sensor readings from the OBD-II/ECU interface are used for dashboard display and alert evaluation.

App preferences: language, chosen dashboard, alert settings and thresholds, and the selected Bluetooth adapter may be retained on the device.

Android permissions: Bluetooth, notifications, and foreground-service functionality may be requested where needed. On some Android versions, discovering nearby Bluetooth devices may involve location-related permissions. You can review and manage permissions in Android Settings.

Information is used to connect to the OBD-II adapter, show live vehicle readings and connection status, apply user-selected alerts, and preserve user preferences.

Core Car Care Live functionality is designed to use OBD and sensor readings for display and alert evaluation on the user’s device. The OBD-II adapter communicates with the app over Bluetooth/BLE. Google Play services involved in distribution or payments may process information under Google’s separate policies; such processing should not be confused with the app’s OBD functionality.

App preferences stored on the device may remain until the user clears the app’s data or uninstalls it. Live sensor readings are intended for use while connected.

To remove locally stored app information, open Android Settings → Apps → Car Care Live → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Questions or requests concerning information under the developer’s control can be sent to the privacy email listed in this policy.

The app relies on Android’s permission and app-storage protections. Bluetooth connections require permissions granted through the operating system as applicable.

No technology can guarantee absolute security. Users should choose trusted OBD-II adapters and protect access to their phones.

You can revoke Bluetooth and notification permissions in Android Settings; Bluetooth access is necessary for live ECU readings.

Car Care Live is not designed for unsupervised use by children. Avoid interacting with the app in ways that distract from driving.
